National Premature Infant Health Coalition

I was honored to be able to attend the inaugural meeting for the National Premature Infant Health Coalition this week. I went as a representative for the Mississippi Perinatal Association and for our nonprofit, the Zoe Rose Memorial Foundation. This is an effort to revitalize a coalition that was formed in 2005 by over two dozen stakeholders in maternal and child health.

Welcome to the Zoe Rose Memorial Foundation, we are so glad you have found us. We started this foundation after the birth of our triplet girls at a mere 25 weeks and 5 days gestation. Through this website and our future services we will strive to help, support, and educate parents of micropreemies, children born at 32 weeks or earlier. Life as a parent of a micropreemie is unlike any other and only those who have experienced it can truly understand the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead. We want to help you be prepared as best as possible; from an emotional and an informational standpoint. We want you to feel informed and empowered during an experience when we as parents will often feel powerless. We are here for you. We have been there ourselves and have experienced the utmost highs and most devastating lows. Through our experience and the resources we have compiled we simply want you to know that there is hope and you are not alone
